ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Voice of Grace International Ministries was established in 2015 in response to a divine call on the life of Mrs. Madrine Kinguah. While on a mission trip to Ghana, Mrs. Kinguah witnessed the overwhelming poverty of the people she was serving. As the Lord spoke to her heart, she determined that someone needed to be the voice for these voiceless people, to speak – and act – on their behalf and to help change their circumstances for the better. Mrs. Kinguah determined that she would be that voice.
Growing up in Kenya, Mrs. Kinguah, too, experienced poverty. Unable to afford school fees, Mrs. Kinguah could not continue her schooling until a generous benefactor recognized her intelligence and academic potential and gifted her with school fees for the remainder of her academic career. The education she received by the grace of God and the generosity of her sponsor dramatically changed the trajectory of her life. Mrs. Kinguah established Voice of Grace International Ministries to provide similar and other affirming and transformational opportunities for youth and adults in both Kenya and the United States
Voice of Grace International Ministries seeks to eliminate suffering in communities by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and changing lives through the practical application of God’s Word. Recognizing that practical needs of people must typically be met before their spiritual needs can be addressed, Voice of Grace International Ministries offers food, supplies, school tuition and fees, and developmental programming designed to meet both the practical and spiritual needs of children and adults.
Madrine has been privileged to serve on many missions around the world. She has travelled to four major continents; USA, Europe, Africa and Asia, as a witness of God’s Grace. Her first mission trip was in 2005 to the UK, and to Kenya, as a powerful witness of God’s power after she miraculously became a U.S. Permanent Resident. Madrine knows it was by the Grace of God that the most complicated process was made smooth and easy for her.
In her pursuit for God, she joined Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries, a ministry that believes in missions work, and whose goal is to “Train disciples to evangelize the world.” Under the leadership of Bishop Daniel Robertson Jr. and Co-Pastor Elena Robertson, she was licensed as a minister of the Gospel in 2009, and became ordained as a Founder of Voice of Grace International Ministries in 2017.
In 2006, she travelled to Uganda with a team from Mt. Gilead. All mission expenses paid for by the church. On that mission field the team planted new churches, and baptized new converts in Lake Victoria. In 2008, she joined another team to Uganda and Kenya where they conducted leadership training conferences prior to returning back to the US. In 2010, she was among the Mt. Gilead team that travelled to Mozambique in South-East Africa. Many lives were transformed and Muslims were converted to Christianity. In 2011 and 2014, Madrine was among the Mt. Gilead team that travelled to India. On both missions, Hindus converted to Christianity in big numbers, and many were healed through the power of the Holy Spirit.
In December 2014, Madrine hosted a Christmas Dinner Outreach event in Richmond Virginia. Nine countries were represented in that event: – Sudan, Trinidad, Guyana, Congo, Nigeria, Haiti, Liberia, Kenya and USA. The purpose was to celebrate Jesus as the Savior of the World, train the community on how to live a victorious life, educate the community on how to eliminate debt, bring awareness on healthy living and train individuals on self-development. The event was facilitated by professional individuals from the local banking sectors, Public School Officials, Local Business Owners and Ministers of the Gospel. Three people received salvation. And a man who was addicted to drugs was prayed for, and given guidance on how to seek further help.
In May 2015, Madrine was privileged to join a team from Mt. Gilead going to Ghana on missions, all expenses paid by the church. It’s during that particular mission where she heard the voice of God asking, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” A response to God’s call is to act and become a positive force for change in the world.
In May 2016, on a self sponsored mission, Madrine was able to minister in two different local churches in Kenya: Praise City Deliverance Church and Full Gospel Churches of Kenya where more than 103 souls received salvation and 21 were baptized with the Holy Spirit. She conducted women’s training sessions and held open air crusades at Ongata Rongai on the outskirts of Nairobi city.
In January 2017, Madrine hosted a powerful prayer conference in West End Henrico County, Virginia. The theme of the event was “It’s Time To Pray”. The purpose was to draw people from all walks of life and kick off the year 2017 in prayer.
